Navigating the TowerGroup Website

1. Can I use any browser to access the site?
  The site is meant to be used with Internet Explorer (IE) versions 6.0 and higher or Firefox versions 2.0 or higher. If you are in AOL, for example, we suggest you access the site from IE or Netscape directly. You must also have cookies enabled for the session.
 
2. What other software or applications should I have to optimize my research experience?
  In addition to the browser, you will need Java, Adobe Acrobat, and MacroMedia Flash so you can take the Tour.
 
3. Can I find research from the Almanacs?
  Yes. One of the innovative features of the website is that once you are in the Glossary, Numbers Almanac, Players Almanac, or Products & Services Catalog, you can 'See All Related Research' associated with a term, number, player, or product, and all associated reports and exhibits will be displayed. This is very useful for both vendors assessing the competitive landscape, or institutions reviewing the best possible solutions.
 
4. How is the research content organized on the site?
  All research content, including full reports, briefs, ViewPoints, Presentations & More, exhibits, glossary terms, and even frequently asked questions (FAQS), are easily accessible by choosing the main body of knowledge desired (e.g., cards), a secondary category that identifies a more specific product or process (e.g., smart card). Once your results are displayed, you can filter them by the type of coverage desired (e.g., Trends & Overviews, Vendors, Technology & Architecture, IT Spending, Best Strategoes & Practices, or specific Case Studies). Coverage can also be filtered by industry vertical (e.g., financial services) and geography.
